Firewall: IPCop
IPCop is a complete Linux distribution whose sole purpose is network protection. IPCop turns any old PC into a high-functioning firewall appliance, with stateful inspection, IPSec VPN, and even the Snort IPS. The refined Web management interface of IPCop gives it our nod over close runner-up SmoothWall.

For WUG purposes, I have found pfSense better, as it supports multiple wan interfaces.

But IPCop will always have a special place in my network! :D

IMO [searchforum]Smoothwall Express 3[/searchforum] [just out of a lengthly beta] is now a better option than IPCop - my reasoning based on the fact that IPCop still uses the 2.4 kernel, whereas SWE3 uses the 2.6 kernel and has added many features that IPCop had that SWE2 did not have, also there doesn't seem to be much development activity going on with IPCop.
