Would you mind posting an entire quote or a link? It's kinda hard to comment on something if you don't have the entire context.

Tutu is one of the very few people in this country who have the guts to stand up and say things are not right, and people do still listen to him.

I have immense amount of respect for the man, and I reckon in some ways he is almost on the same level as Madiba.

Yep, i have to agree with that 100%. He's one of the few who are telling it how it is without fear.

He is also one of the very few who are not trying to coin as much as possible from the poor people in the country.

Actually it wasn't that hard to find:
Tutu likened Biko to Jesus Christ, saying that as Jesus came to earth to liberate mankind from sin, so Biko sacrificed his life for the freedom of black people.
“He sacrificed himself for us. He abandoned his medical profession and served the community. He was utterly selfless and altruistic and let us recover that spirit of serving others,” Tutu said.

I guess thats how one compare's Biko to Jesus. A very apt comparison in my opinion.

    He also said:

The archbishop also lashed out at those in government who were “treating people like dirt”, lambasting those he called “money grabbers” who enriched themselves at the expense of others through black economic empowerment schemes.
A little rudeness and disrespect can elevate a meaningless interaction to a battle of wills and add drama to an otherwise dull day.

Almost? He at least is kicking up a stink about what the government is doing. Meanwhile Madiba is enjoying his "retirement" flying all over the world and having chit chats with celebs unconcerned at all it seems to the fact that his comrades are running the place into the ground killling our citizens like flys
