I'd like to know which 8 series nVidia GPU is equivalent to the 6800GT golden sample.

If you are looking for the approx same speed 8000 series card

I would say about a 8500GT, with the 8500GT in the lead.

8500/8600Gt sounds about right, the 6800Gt is a 256-bit card, where as the newer 8600,8500 are only 128-Bit which hampers performance quite a bit..

Looked at some comparisons, and I actually thought it would rate better than that... Still def good enough by my crappy standards though...
