I am an existing MTN SP subscriber, and applied for an Extended Data 500Mb contract, with a E220 USB modem. Since I am an existing contract subscriber, a "add sim" was done.

This new sim will only be used in the modem, but I would still like to check my balance and data bundle info. When I phone 16202 from a cellphone with the new sim in it, I get the message "You are using this service from your secondary phone. Please use your primary phone". I only get my existing contract info when using my "primary" phone. The same applies when using the *162*PIN*1# USSD command.

Is there a way to check my info on the Extended Data sim, without each time removing the sim and calling 808?
