Default USB Modems in Mandriva 2010

When you start the live CD make sure your Vodafone/Mtn or whatever make is connected to your computer.

One thing to make sure of is that if its not attached when you start installing Mandriva, Mandriva offers to remove unneeded hardware support and if your Modem is not connected it will not load the package comgt and then your modem will not work. This is only if you are installing from the live CD not the Dvd.
