Default Random TV Show Question

Here's an odd question I hope someone can answer...

A while ago there was a TV program where the main guys had the help of 3 or 4 geek guys who used to hang out in a van or a caravan and do all sorts of computer stuff for them - I think they used to hack into official computers, and there was something to do with maps at one point... They were typical long haired computer geek stereotypes.

I know this is a really vague description, but I can see these guys so clearly and just can't remember what show they're from! At first I thought X Files, then I thought Dark Angel, but neither of those is right.

So yeah, odd and vague question, but can anyone give me an answer?

Definitely a series. I'd guess it was around 5 to 10 years ago.

lol

Do you remember anything else about it? I just have an image of these guys, might help jog my memory if I could remember something about the main characters.

I think that's it! Although I had convinced myself it couldn't be X Files... I'll search for some pictures of them tomorrow when I have my PC on (using my phone atm), but it sounds right.

thanks!

The Lone Gunmen are a trio of fictional characters, Richard "Ringo" Langly, Melvin Frohike and John Fitzgerald Byers, who had recurring roles on the American television series The X-Files.
