It's not really debt, so no I didn't bother to check it.
It will be so easy to get it struck down in court, that's why they won't bother to go any further.
Point is, they clearly have no intention of going further to collect - hoping to scare people into paying and that's it. The debt (if you can even call it that) will prescribe.
No, you won't.
I tried to cancel but they didn't affect it. Sent me a bill for R18K (how is that even possible?) Lawyers called me for a month or so. Told them to take me to court, I'll happily chat with them there. They continued to call - I made small talk with the callers until they gave...
Same here and yes, this guy reeks of racism. His fervor in "giving it to the white man" blinding him to the actual eventualities of these changes.
But I've seen enough of his posts to know no rational engagement can be had. If everything has to go under with nothing but poverty to learn from...
Social grants were just cut because there's simply no money.
Baby Themba is going to be malnourished and going to be raised to be Olympic levels of stupid in an Education system that is an oxymoron, but at least it'll be in Gqeberha and not PE.
The SA where people were actively discriminated, which was ruled by a government that cared only for itself was more functional in governing than the current "free" South Africa. And you are justifying all the stupid decisions by "at least it's not apartheid".
Nothing short of a Zimbabwe-style...

1. They don't want you to take your money when you leave because they know the shtshow is about to get real
2. They want those planning to leave but that haven't yet to withdraw their full benefits now and tax them at 40% or more. Easy money.
I'll add to this - white South Africans specifically receive a lot of respect for their work ethic in international circles. There is however the perception that white South Africans are often racist, which is probably also true.
