Hey dude,
Hope you don't mind me messaging you here. I saw your post @ http://mybroadband.co.za/vb/archive/index.php/t-31321.html regarding British passports: "...my mom was registered in Northern Rhodesia and so the recent law from last year made it you could get a passport via your Mom as a result."
I'm busy trying to do some research about my possibilities for a Brit passport, so I was wondering about that law you mentioned, what it says exactly and maybe where I can find out more?!
My mom was born in Southern Rhodesia in 1950, got her British passport when she was like 21 and then i was born in 1984. She got it via this rule: http://ukinzimbabwe.fco.gov.uk/en/help-for-british-nationals/passports/Eligible
Anyway, any info would be great. Am busy discussing my situation with the high commission in Pretoria and on http://www.immigrationboards.com/viewtopic.php?p=383106#383106
