    Repo rate cut by 50bps

Agree completely. Also work for a bank. I am looking at buying my first property. Only thing I can't seem to see are the deflated house prices. Estate Agents are becoming worse than used car dealers. I was recently in contact with an agent about a Linden Property that had been listed since...

    Repo rate cut by 50bps

I think unearned income might be a bit of an overstatement. There are a lot of elderly people in the country that use the interest from savings in addition to their pensions to make ends meet. If you earn significant amounts of interest from savings and investments, you end up paying tax on it...

Cheaper Run-Around / Luggage Hauler Suggestions

Hi Everyone, Have been looking around at some of the ads. Have come to the conclusion that at my current budget, a station wagon will either need cash invested to get in back into a good condition or I need to look at something smaller. At around the R80k the luxury wagons have high mileage...

Cheaper Run-Around / Luggage Hauler Suggestions

Thanks Wesley, I have considered this. I can do quite a bit of vehicle maintenance myself. But I also realise that parts for the Volvo might be more difficult to find than others if I do not want to go the dealership route.

    Is Webuycars reliable?

They state in all of their auction and cash sales that the vehicles are sold as is under wholesale. You as the seller have to accept this and relieve them from any liability / responsibility for repair costs of these vehicles.

Cheaper Run-Around / Luggage Hauler Suggestions

Hi Everyone, Hope that you are well. I currently daily drive a 2010 Mercedes-Benz E500 Coupe. I have recently transferred to another geographical location within the same company. The area itself is not very pleasant to drive in (bad road surfaces, crime ridden) and much further away in terms...

    Is Webuycars reliable?

WeBuyCars are good for selling your vehicle to if they offer you a higher price. I would only buy a vehicle from them that is within the original manufacturer's warranty and / or maintenance plan with a dealer verified service history.

    2004 Golf MK 4

Having had my fair share of older used cars, just stay away. Car is overpriced, mileage is too high and suspension parts etc... will either have started or will start going in the near future. For the same price, rather get a newer, smaller and safer vehicle. Don't spend your savings on only...

Why do dealerships willfully mislead the public on vehicle trade-in values?

This dealership has a reputation for trying to sell cars for R40k - R50k above retail and that's only the lower value cars for e.g. under R200k. Saw this multiple times when trying to apply through staff finance with Wesbank.

Why do dealerships willfully mislead the public on vehicle trade-in values?

I sold my my CLK500 to them recently. Other dealers were offering R75k - R80k. WeBuyCars bought my vehicle for R100k. Give them a try, you have nothing to lose.

Advice Needed: Performance Tyres for Mercedes Benz

Hi Everyone, I need some advice on tyres for my vehicle please. I currently drive a 2010 MB E500 Coupe. I require two new front tyres. Now, the dealership where I bought the car, put Davanti DX640's on the rear of the vehicle. I have not seen a lot of reviews for them, but from what I've seen...

    We Buy Cars....We Sell ?

The public should be aware of their buying options to be honest. Their cars that do not qualify for finance and auction cars are sold cash and voetstoots. Vehicles which still qualify for finance cannot be sold voetstoots as you are obligated to take out an aftermarket warranty when purchasing...
