    Yeah - thanks man. I solved one part of my equation - as I left telksuck ADSl and reverting back to my old friend LTE. Rain + Telkom looks like a good option. Now I just need to figure out how to send ussd commands from my old LTE router. Telkom webstats is just too unreliable...

    I haven't figured that out yet. I still have to remove the Telkom LTE Sim from the LTE router and put it into a handset so that I can load the Mo' nice data.
    When I get the time I might check out the Rooter software (see the site at ofmodemsandmen.com) because it has a small RAM footprint (OpenWRT has a problem fitting into budget spec routers) and I seem to recall that it can send USSD commands.
