South Africa has no real economic recovery plan – Report

The fact that we tax payers still have money paid into our bank accounts and not to SARS, is disturbing to the ANC.

SAA needs funds by next week to continue operating

I came to look for the same answer? WTF are they doing that they need money for if no-one is allowed to fly anywhere?

Minecraft for PC: How to buy

Hallo Everyone Need some advice/assistance. The kid has been playing Minecraft on the phone (android) during the lockdown. Now wants to play with friends on PC. I have no idea where or how to acquire the game. On windows store, I am unable to add a South African address to make a payment...

Do you think we should be at lockdown Alert Level 1?

The levels is a load of nonsense. Apply and enforce safety measures and go about normal life best we can.

It’s official - You have to wear a mask when walking, jogging, or cycling

Is a good article. In essence, keeping a distance leaves time and space for virus particles to fall down and dissipate. The effectiveness of masks is difficult to assess, as you don't really know how people got infected, but there are many reliable anecdotal descriptions of the effect. In...

    Schools will reopen on Monday

The idea here is that it's more manageable to keep children apart than in a school setup. You can have a class in a huge hall where tables are spaced apart and not cramped like in most schools. Children are then also not exposed to a home environment, bringing the virus back home.

Wave of COVID-19 cases coming - These are the hotspots in Joburg and Cape Town

If you are serious about this, and have credible evidence, you will supply the proof and not rely on innuendo. I have so far not encountered any person who are able to supply evidence. We can thus safely assume that you are engaging in propaganda.

Wave of COVID-19 cases coming - These are the hotspots in Joburg and Cape Town

I think it's more the people who are not experts complaining that there aren't enough dead and dying in the streets.

Ramaphosa: Worst still to come in war against COVID-19

Thank you for explaining it very understandably. They lost traction when they started their war on grilled chicken and atchar ladies. Then the backtrack on cigarettes and enforcement abuse. Final straw the clothing regulations. That lost them the little goodwill they had left. And the mess...

It’s official - You have to wear a mask when walking, jogging, or cycling

The evidence around this is conflicting. The flow-restriction masks or nose-clips that are sold is supposed to simulate high altitude training to boost red cell volumes. But as always with exercise, things aren't as simple as that. If you start looking in detail, to get the benefit of altitude...

It’s official - You have to wear a mask when walking, jogging, or cycling

O2 and CO2 molecules are much smaller than the holes in a mask. It's just the force of your breath having the thing move in and out. If you have a mask system that fits where it has the mask moving in and out, you have a good system going. It means that air isn't coming in through the sides...

It’s official - You have to wear a mask when walking, jogging, or cycling

Didn't read the article, did you? I didn't drink the coolaid. If there is no-one around, you won't be spreading anything to anyone. That is just plain common sense. The argument being made is that masks doesn't do nothing don't wear them don't be oppressed. My argument is they work, wear them...

It’s official - You have to wear a mask when walking, jogging, or cycling

Can we put this whole mask/no mask issue to rest. Wear the bloody masks, it works to protect others against you. Here is a very good article explaining why wearing masks are important. If you are serious about being a reasonable person who will do better when they know better, read it. If you...
