Any of you guys having issues with subscription payments (Netflix, Spotify DOs) using Virtual Card related to the CVV failure?

    FNB Virtual Card Issues

Hi all, is anyone else having issues with their FNB Virtual Cards linked to credit card? My DOs are failing due to some CVV error, which should not feature as an issue. Also, when using the live CVV for purchases, the same error occurs.

For this: Have an FNB Fixed Deposit Account and/or a Savings and Investment Account(s) with a term of longer than 7 days and maintain a minimum balance of R13 500 in the account. Would this include 7-day notice accounts as these are not strictly LONGER than 7 days?

Makes sense, thanks. Will do scan-to-pay with FNB Pay then, which is unfortunate as tap options seem to be more available (and easier) What remains still is the question on "Partner Wallets" which in my case is the FitBit Pay option that features the tap-to-pay option - does not accept the...

Tips to Boost your eBucks - 1 July 2021 to 30 June 2022

Has anyone successfully added their virtual CC (VCC) to FNB Pay Tap and Pay function? - I have also been unsuccessful in adding the VCC to FitBit Pay (Partner Wallet) but Discovery VCC was added no problem. Digital banking call centre said VCC only for online payments and not for FNB Pay but...

EasyEquities US Account - US Bond ETF and tax

Does anyone own any US Bond ETFs in their EasyEquities account? How do the coupons work and the related tax implications of such? - is there perhaps an option for total return for those that intend to use the bond asset class as a means to diversify as opposed to receive income? Thanks

Open tax free savings account for kid (baby)?

Two options: Tax Free Savings Account - set interest rate Tax Free Investment Account - capital growth (appreciation and dividends) The TFIA will beat inflation over time if you invest in an international ETF such as MSCI World particularly over a 15-year period which maximises compounding...

    Anybody signed up with Tymebank?

Exactly, my ebucks subsidise my fees and then some. Therefore, for ME, it does not make sense as there would be a negative benefit from moving excluding the inconvenience of changing banks. If that reality changes or the "scheme" collapses then I will jump and move elsewhere. Equally, people...

    Anybody signed up with Tymebank?

This still doesn't make sense for me. The R200 FNB Premier bundled account fee (which is inclusive of debit orders) is covered by the R500+ rand I earn on ebucks each month just for doing the normal transactions and purchases I'd normally do. I suppose if you want a bare bone bank service that...

    Contingency for worst case SA

Brilliant Sherlock but that's not what I'm arguing though. You think the working class have their say in the vote with unemployment at 27%? How about the Marxist system that promises land free-bees - this is a wet dream for the Twitter and social media warriors who sit at home as "victims of...

    Contingency for worst case SA

Twitter may represent a "minority" but that coupled with Facebook and Youtube comments turns into a trend that cannot be ignored. Nobody is advocating pessimism but it is important to observe the signs of populism.
