I've had an issue with the switch 8 lite PSU failing due to a surge, scoop had no replacements locally, and ubiquiti USA wanted the faulty unit to be sent to them first after which they were willing to send a replacement.
Ended up buying a replacement from a digitech reseller. 54v not...
No warranty details on that inverter battery all in one?
I would think thr normal system with separate inverter and battery would be better as one can add /change freely, not stuck with one brand. What if they go down with no support and spares in a few years?
Suggest you post at the power forum, and contact the shop https://powerforum-store.co.za/.
Best make an informed decision considering the cost.
Sunsynk inverters are highly rated on the forums
Also think high price on the panels. Rather get other quotes.
When I phoned home connect to ask them to assign me a public ip (leave alone a static ip) as I was behind a cgnat, they had no idea what I was talking about. Wasted much time.
Getting a static ip took one PM to @AfriNatic and it was sorted out within a few hours on a public holiday!
I'm now with afrihost and glad I am.
Makes a world of difference dealing with someone (@AfriNatic) who knows what CG Nat is, static ip etc. I was with home connect and trying to explain to the support team that I need a public ip was not being understood.
Senetic aren't local. They recently got a local office with a few things available locally. Most of the stuff coming from Europe. Which is why the shipping cost is high.
I've used them multiple times before, much cheaper than local, no issues even with a warranty exchange
