Same for me. I have no need for a laptop bigger than 13”. I currently have a Touch Bar MacBook Pro 13” and it’s more than sufficient. It can also run Ubuntu 20.04 but there’s the odd issue with power management that I still have to fix.

Sometimes it's a different WiFi card compared to the Windows version, other times it's also custom drivers as well as a custom kernel. This time I'm not sure of the differences but here's a link to Ubuntu.com showing the XPS 13 9300's certification info...

I was planning to buy the 2020 XPS 13 sometime in the future and just load Ubuntu on it but this came as a very nice surprise. I think it was worth resurrecting.

I highly doubt Apple would have spent so many years planning to migrate to ARM if it was automatically going to be slower than x86. I think that their software is what will make the difference. I don't think the ARM Macs will be massively faster but they will not be slower . Performance isn't...
