Anyone with a better (more cost effective) solution to provide an 021 number with the lowest call rates using an analog phone (normal Telkom handset) and sip device?
R 55 for an 021 number + R 25 for unlimited landline calls (local + international) and R 0.56 per minute for local mobile...
1. Local Network is congested.
2. Backhaul bandwidth is severely shaped.
3. Support is non existent: You seem to be lucky if you get a response from either email@example.com or firstname.lastname@example.org. You however do receive a ticket [cybersmart.co.za #2716298] but nothing gets done...
Had feedback fro TRL Tech on behalf of Cybersmart, all ok again.

Most of Cape Town CBD's 10 Mbps lines have been reduced to 6 Mbps, to facilitate the 1 Mbps upgrade, as the exchanges are unable to facilitate the additional traffic - due to the lack of investment in infrastructure - check your line speed!
