Plans to build Australia’s first Trump Tower have been scrapped just three months after it was announced, with the local developer saying the Trump brand has become “toxic.”

“Let’s just say that with the Iran war and everything else, the Trump brand was increasingly unpopular in Australia,” David Young, CEO of Altus Property Group, told CNN in a statement.

Nope - source: my Australian uncle in Sydney.

In fact the Aussies had a national election last year and it led to a landslide for the Labour party as the conservative-aligned party's leader was perceived to be too close to Trump. Having said that, after the terrible terrorist attack in Sydney, the far-right "One Nation" party has had a stratospheric rise in the polls and in fact won their first ever MP just a few days ago!
 
Perhaps they could go with "Al Capone Tower".

If they need to name a building after a criminal, they might at least choose a vaguely articulate one.

The way he has been going on lately, I doubt he even has much support within the Republican Party itself outside of the MAGA acolytes.

I wouldn't be surprised if deep down even Vance wishes he'd piss off because he is doing a pretty good job of screwing the Republicans ahead of upcoming elections (they will lose the midterms) and snuffing Vance's hopes of being president in the process. His approval rating back home is in the low 30s.

The above in mind, it shouldn't be a surprise that global perception of him is tanking. He is almost singlehandedly responsible for tanking the global economy. My personal fuel bill has gone up ~30% because of him. He can go and fvck himself.
