Lets put it this way. My income level is not high enough to open an Investec account in SA but I opened one in Mauritius... but I think you need to keep a min balance of $100k to get free bank charges....

agreed 100%, its shocking... for example you go into phones section and only the 1 i phone is there... but go into apple and there are 4. I take it there are NO samsung phones unless i just cant find them on the site?

you can open an Investec account in Mauritius. Easier then opening an SA one as income requirements are lower. Can all be done online and they have accounts for all major currencies..
