Well, I can tell you that although the Redmi 12C on that list does officially have NFC. On many versions, including the ones here in SA, it has been disabled or removed. Bummer.
They should seriously consider offering trade-in discounts in exchange for old 2G/3G devices.
A few hundred off a network locked 4G Smartphone in exchange for whatever they're using now would get far more users to scrap their old phones.
Would have been R200 in the previous collection drive.
I think they'd be pretty stupid to offer the same amounts as last time. There are a lot of desperate people out there. Even if they only offered R10 per item, the queues would be just as long.
Avoid HP at all costs. Even their approved distributers are selling couinterfeit batteries, probably due to their extortionate prices, but that's still no excuse.
Looking at you Service Parts Logistics... 😡
I call pricing error. The A72 5G is usually around R3.8K. Sold out on Avo, and can only find the A72 4G version for under R2K.
The 4G version has a crappy Spreadtrum chipset which should be avoided at all costs.

They generally give reasons why they decline your review.
I've found that if you keep changing your review slightly and it's within their rules, eventually they just cave and post it.
It took me 5 attempts, but eventually got mine through.
There's a seller on Takealot called "Pro Gamer" that...
I think they messed up by scrapping the free trial offer. They're not like the bigger streaming services that can get away without utilising the try-before-you-buy business model.
It's actually pretty simple to achieve compliance with that.
After the FUP limit is reached, limit all calls to something like 1 minute and limit text messages to something like 5 per hour.
All I can say for sure is it definitely wasn't a "No Questions Asked" warranty/refund. I've read about quite a few people being denied refunds despite being within the window.
If your reason wasn't good enough, refund denied.
One issue with Afrihost during that time was that they changed their...
