You are correct it's a robbing business if the company retrench me on B2 salary I'll get more than R100k retrenchment package with my 8 years experience. When the company decide to retrench me on A4 salary I'm going to get like R90K retrenchment package.
None
The is nothing to be happy about I'm happy I still have a job, but deep down I'm sad I got promotion early this year now this. Now I have to adjust my budget, but he said I will get my current salary for six months. Then the assistant salary will kick in after.
Update
Head office called me yesterday all is sorted HR manager admit, a mistake happened he did apology he offered me demotion to avoid retrenchment that will happen early next month.
Just this whole thing is complicated the HR officer committed fraud too, by protecting his young/cousin from retrenchment. So I'll hear from the union Tuesday, the is a space for demotion just something must have happened along the way.
Why only one specific category does not get opportunity...
It's a big company no other departments are not full. Another lady had the same issue as ours, the union took it to head office she was transferred to other branch. I'm waiting for feedback from head office as I too lodged a complain. I'm just asking if I don't get the respond, I'm expecting can...
Yes the is a room for demotion I can be transferred to other department or go back to my old job. If the company can offer upper level categories demotion, why can't we been offered demotion.
I don't know if I should blame the company or HR officer, because HR manager thought we were offered...
We didn't mind the demotion we just concern why our category, was never offered demotion while other categories were offered option for demotion. I personally I have being hold that position, for 10 months so I didn't mind going to entry level job.
Good day
Two months back our HR called us into a boardroom, he informed us the company is going through hard time financially. The company has issued section 189, and those that are called into the boardroom we are affected by section 189. We have opportunity to ask for demotion for entry level...
How about something like previous gen Toyota Aygo, R135k I think you can also fine Suzuki Swift 1.4 but the is nothing wrong with Hyundai grand i10.
Even though Chevrolet is out of the country you can still get parts and service at Isuzu. Maybe look at Chevrolet sonic you can get one for R110k.
Beside the issues with previous owner mistakes, and my mistakes honestly Honda Brio is hassle stress free car to own. Everything I had to replace on that car it was because it was in an accident.
I do agree parts are f### expensive and a mission to fine them.
I would say first choice Hyundai Getz/ Honda Jazz. But my personal favourite Honda Brio fantastic little car if you don't mind the looks. I'm currently driving Chevrolet spark my only issue with spark, compare to Honda Brio. Chevy spark is heavy on fuel.
Also look at Suzuki Alto defiantly you...
So far I have owned two cars between Chevrolet Spark and Honda Brio, I would buy back the Honda Brio. Look wise its ugly but its more fast and fuel saver compare to Chevy Spark.
Yeah my colleagues recommended someone I will go see him next week to repair the bumper. I don't want to claim through insurance this is a small job.
Indeed this is not my year early this year I had accident with my Honda Brio, around May the engine mount broke Honda wanted R82 000 to repair...
The wasn't that much force as I was in gear one going forward, preparing to park in reverse just that it was dark hence I didn't see the tree log.
The car is still good condition just that the small crack on the bumper. I thought it could be fixed hence I went to a panelbeater. I was prepared...
The car has never been in accident its brand new, its my first incident with the car. They want to make extra buck, I will just have to live with that crack.
