If you're a Vodacom customer, scammers probably have access to your personal information and can use it to spend your money without your consent.

Believe it or not. Just got new fraudulent charges from Vodacom. This time 2 separate fraudulent invoices for R4,500.

    Telkom downhill

Telkom is the worst. They always make it impossible to cancel your account. Happened to me more than once. I recommend just every now and then going on Twitter and commenting on their posts and ads about how bad they treat people. Hopefully it will stop a few more people from signing up with them.

If you're a Vodacom customer, scammers probably have access to your personal information and can use it to spend your money without your consent.

To make things worse, I just got another call from such a company trying to sell Vodacom upgrades to me. They knew my name before I've said a word. It's possible it's the very same company even. Or it's a different company that has my private information because Vodacom doesn't respect your...

If you're a Vodacom customer, scammers probably have access to your personal information and can use it to spend your money without your consent.

This happened to me, and looks like it's happening to a lot of people. On 9 April I received this quote with Vodacom services I don't recognize, and never asked for. See image attached. 2 days later I got a payment notification for this amount going off my bank account. I know the scammers got...

Bank Zero vs TymeBank fees and services compared

The interest rates on both are neglible. So is R135 to have the card delivered, in the grand scheme of things. So based on that I'd go for Bank Zero. I don't want to go to PnP to pick up anything. The most important thing is how much time and effort a bank saves you. Can I easily buy...

MyBroadband flooded with complaints about Telkom line cancellations

Same with me. But I'm still getting threatening letters from NuDebt, even though I've sent them the latest Telkom invoice showing zero owed.

Telkom - 96 Hour Notice Of A Final Demand

I also got the same one today. I actually had a line, but cancelled long ago. They've already reported me to credit agencies, and I've been denied loans because of it. Guess I'm going to have to lawyer up.

Openserve is forcing me to use Telkom

I will never use Telkom if I can avoid it. I've had way too many problems with them. I hate them. They've cost me several thousand Rands on several separate occasions. They've probably cost me a promotion as well. I also hate their dumb call center operators. They act like they will try to...

Openserve is forcing me to use Telkom

They should warn prospective tenants though before having them sign lease agreements. I don't understand why we can't be on Century City Connect, like all the other complexes in the area.

Openserve is forcing me to use Telkom

The homeowners association is getting angry at me because I've informed them of all my previous issue I've had with Telkom. So I'd advise anyone who want to avoid Telkom not move into Bougain Villas in Century City.

Openserve is forcing me to use Telkom

Yes, it's the home owners association that signed an exclusive deal. Either gross negligence or corruption involved. I bet they'll be very secretive about who lobbied and signed for it.

Openserve is forcing me to use Telkom

Are there any wireless internet options that would be worth a try? I need around 200GB of bandwidth per month at speeds of at least 20mbps.

Openserve is forcing me to use Telkom

I know. But my question is, is this legal?

Openserve is forcing me to use Telkom

I've tried to put a fiber order in with Cool Ideas, and got this reply back from them. I've phoned the Estate Manager at Bougain Villas, and they confirmed that that is indeed the case. Is this legal? I really do not want anything to do with Telkom. Is there anything I can do?

Getting the ball rolling with a class action law suite against Telkom

There are thousands of people unable to cancel their contracts with Telkom. I'm unable to get Fibre at my new place, because they refuse to cancel the previous tenant's contract. So how do we get started? I'm thinking we need to 1 Set up a crowd fund thing. 2 Identify a suitable law firm...

The struggle to switch from Telkom fibre

Some places you can only get Telkom Fibre. Is it time to start a class action law suite against Telkom? How can we get the ball rolling with this?

Best Hospital Plan for a Single Guy?

Hi I'm 23 and I need to start paying for my own health insurance/medical aid. I earn R6000 per month. I don't know how much my salary will go up next year. I'm basically looking for the cheapest way of insuring that I can get professional care in case of an emergency. I don't go to the...
