Hi AfriPeeps! I see that the new package pricing has gone live, but it looks like the website isn't yet up-to-date with the changes (Octotel). Would it be possible to get that up-to-date so we can explore our upgrade/downgrade options?

Hi There - how does one go about getting a public ip on our afrihost link? We used to be able to route into our local network from the public web, but unfortunately it looks like this is no longer possible.

Yeah, they're not allowing an upgrade. Their line is that 'we can only convert you to a 24/36 month contract, not to another month-to-month'. I'll likely have to take out one of their data-only sim contracts

Nah, it was the month-to-month 100GB special. There was always a risk, but they simply decided to discontinue it.

It was somewhat of a "we're gonna double your monthly cost from 01 October if you don't change your package" type of situation. I've asked for more details

Nah, gave up unfortunately. The RCT's voltage cut-off was too high, resulting in it basically switching off and never attempting to charge the battery once it moved below 20%. Wasn't sustainable for my use case :/
