It was R7,800. But it turns out you were right about the second dealership actually being the scammers. Took the car to a reputable Hi Q today and was told the pads were still between 20% and 30%. Guessed that it could go for another 10,000km. Discs were also fine.
I'm posting here to see if anybody else has had success in getting a used car dealership to pay for repairs on worn items that were not disclosed at sale.

I've found it hard to identify family members or friends who prefer 3D over 2D. Just wondering if this is the general attitude towards the format or is my circle simply very traditional in that sense? Imax is different, but I still prefer 2D Imax over 3D.
During the last rounds of load-shedding, it took a number of days before my cellular reception started to be affected by the towers' batteries running out of power.
Now, it seems, whenever load-shedding starts, I instantly have near-unusable data signal.

Is anyone else on a Cell C contract not receiving notifications of data bundles running out? Started happening last month. Used to get an sms mere seconds or minutes after a bundle had been used up and received constant SMS updates with depletion notices.
