Hey guys, I'm looking for a SASS to handle event booking and payments for small scale events(<100 people).
I see there is a site called ticketwiz.co.za that seems perfect.
Has anyone used them or have other recommendations?
It's not the worst idea, as having it on all the time uses alot of power. That being said I did read somewhere that it should be on all the time as bacteria could start to grow in the chamber when it's off. Other thing to consider is what will it do to the balast and bulb turning on and off the...
Yeah in PE there is a boil notice out, currently got a 5micron, carbon, 1 micron then the UV.
Then for drinking I have a 5 stage filter in addition.
Apparently they found high levels of a carcinogens (Some flame retardant) in the water aswell, nightmare
That's what I was afraid of, now I have to cough up another R1200 for ballast and bulb.... Thanks alot ANC, its great paying tax and purifying municipal water again after you fail.
On a side note if I have to replace this lot every year is reverse osmoses actually cheaper on a whole house...
So after a year, my 55W UV whole home filter system's ballast triggered a fault.
As I understand these light bulbs are only rated to last that long so I ordered a replacement bulb (+- R700 :crying: )
As soon as I turned it on the new bulb fused. Now Im not sure if its the ballast or the bulb...
Totally agree with that, setting your your spend limit at 0.00 (zero) is the only way. I have set and rejected every setting I can and I still get these fraudulent "Sign-ups" throughout the month.... Totally criminal on Telkom's part
So here the delay timer would tell the contactor to switch?
Will it turn off the switch when there is no power? So it uses power to keep the circuit open?
Price for both of those is getting close to the full smart switch with monitoring :cautious:
The idea is that its one less step every time there is loadshedding. It will still be a manual process, manual generator start.
Only after the generator is ruining and I flip external isolator switch will the db and subsequently the auto changeover switch receive power and then automatically...
So I currently have a 7Kva generator powering a split circuit(Excluding heavy loads) with a manual changeover switch.
I want to automate the switchover process with an auto changeover switch, however I currently gradually turn on circuits after the change over so the generator can adapt to the...
Well thanks for all the insights guys. I've ordered a replacement and this time I will fit it with bootlace ferules and run the heater with only one switch one, i.e. half the load;
Hopefully that's enough to keep me safe
Is there some sort of pre-clamped pin I should be using on the cable that goes in the connector?
I just stripped the cable, twisted and shoved it in there.
I do remember pulling back on the cable to check that it had taken.
Is there a special technique?
So I bought the Sonoff TH16 with Temperature and Humidity Monitoring to act as a thermostat and timer for my Delonghi 2500w fin oil heater.

This worked great for about a month, perfectly controlling room temperature at night with in 0.5 deg C. Then in the middle of the night we...
