    The official Mikrotik router thread

I am also dissapointed, for the first 2 years in the UK I had to use 5G , had no FTTP coverage, only VDSL  We get free internet with our apartments, but the latency is crap , and all sorts of other problems. I got quite the treat by seeing all the backend kit when my Openreach line was...

    The official Mikrotik router thread

It was a choice between the hAP ax³ and RB5009 , the hAP ax³ looks like a decent bit of kit (It was recommended in this thread by a few) but selfishly I wanted to treat myself and opted for the more expensive RB5009 :P If you have the money I would go for it

    The official Mikrotik router thread

I used to have quite a few mark packet rules and queues but I have found on the new router a Cake tree does the job well. My main killer was uploads, as my line is asymmetric (was 150/35 and now 550/75 down/up) PS Loving the RB5009 , really good piece of kit I need to make a plan to move it...

    The official Mikrotik router thread

So when I left SA I only could take one of my tiks with me , opted for the hEX PoE lite , left the 3011 behind (was too big) I overestimated the cpu power of the hex poe lite , thinking it was a newer device Now I am settled again and have fiber , the ipv6 fastrack limitation is limiting ipv6...

    MyBB'ers in the United Kingdom

I had a similar situation in my first terrace apartment, my room had double patio doors out into the shared parking/courtyard. I could feel the air coming in through the door, which was not sealing properly. Called in maintenance who said they couldnt do anything! Was a fault with the whole...

    The official Mikrotik router thread

Only problem with ipv6 on Mikrotik is its not fasttrack yet , so the routing is all done via cpu On my router (Hex poe) I only get around 150mbit on ipv6 vs 400mbit line speed on ipv4 I still use it as I need it for work Setup will depend on your isp , both my ipv4 and ipv6 are static...

Is there a rule that says you must invest it on the UK side in a pension? Eg. checking with a financial planner if there is a more tax efficient way (ISA) of reinvesting as you would have been hit with tax when taking it out of SA

Rain is still coming to collect its old 5G routers

Incorrect, when Rain 5g started in JHB you had to buy the router , and it wasnt a black friday sale, it was the only way to get Rain 5g
