I was there in December, it was quite a contrasting sight. From the R512, looking to one side is completely overgrown while the other is crystal clear.
@Dildo Shaggins... My dude... Chill :)
Going into a knife fight unarmed is essentially guaranteed suicide unless you have extensive training (real-world training, not memorising YouTube videos) AS WELL AS luck on your side. Anyone who teaches knife self-defense will tell you your best chance...
If you can taste the button on the garlic bread, I think you're using too much
The question is which sides, as in salads, etc, not what you want on the side of the grid.
I said EIGHTEEN, not two.
I don't eat margarine or butter unless on a garlic roll. When it comes to a garlic roll, there's boggerall difference between Stork and a R 180 block of butter.
I've demonstrated that you can make 18 for the price of buying 6.
Does she add yogurt? I always love potato salad, and the creamier the better. Dilute mayo in milk til it has the consistency of cream and away you go... At least that's what I thought. My wife adds plain yogurt and HOT DAMN I can...
There's a big difference between a sandwich heated by a metal plate and over smoking coals. A HUGE difference. Day and night. If it was "nice" it wasn't done properly.
Unfortunately I've been to a bad one. The wood used was absolutely not fit for braaing, it was bought as "fire wood" (friend of...
Store bought garlic bread is terrible. It's dryer than the Sahara.
For around the price of 6 store-bought garlic rolls (at R 34.99 each), you can get
18 rolls @ R 3.49 each
1kg butter (Stork is fine, really) @ R 57.99
125g tub of crushed garlic @ R 16.99
750g cheese (R 70 at Spar - R 89.99/kg...
Or... Get a pack of the big mushrooms. Mix garlic butter to spread over the bottom, cover in a slice of cheese, braai upside down.
Why is it only 10:50am on a Monday morning? This thread has made me ready to braai :(
There isn't a single correct answer. Braaibroodjies are a must. Garlic bread is a must. Potato salad is a must. If I had to choose only one, you're not my friend and I'll braai elsewhere.
Avos are seasonal. A couple months ago I was paying R 10 for two at Spar, ripe and ready to eat. If you don’t mind waited for them to ripen, there were bags of six for R 25.
In the long run, things are going to work out better.
Disti 1 would bring in something of EVERYTHING. This was extremely annoying with RAM, as Corsair goes overboard on the SKUs. For example, on Vengeance Black:
2x16GB DDR5-xxxx CL30-a-a-b
2x16GB DDR5-xxxx CL30-c-c-d
2x16GB DDR5-xxxx...
