Solid points. Although for the average office park I don't think LS will be too much of an issue in the evening, but yes, on those drawn out rainy and cloudy weeks it will be an issue and of course shopping centres will be cooked in the evenings during LS.
In our (company's) case, we've got 2 containers that were converted to house batteries. The lifts work here when the power goes out. Not sure for how long, but I didn't hear the gennies (still being maintained as backups) running during last year's LS.
