Regarding the 5600x: this was launched in November 2020, as the base model of that launch. I have one and it is a great processor, but note that you would be upgrading your upper-range 7-year old CPU to a 4-year old base CPU...
That reminds me of the auto-electrician appie. He went to the boss with a box of blown fuses; "Hey boss, they sent you a box of dud fuses", he said, after testing them one for one in the old car with a full short!!
That cannot have too many parts... I'm sure that a good DIY 'er who contributed so well to the thread should be able to shoe-in whatever has given up, with an appropriate original part (or at least a reasonable facsimile [emoji106])
