    No and No, I'm already forced to pay for several other corrupt organisations. If they turned it around, weeded out the corruption, and started contributing positively to the country, even if I didn't use the service, then I'd pay.

    The motorplan inspection is valid for a month or something, so he can definitely do it before you buy the car as proof that it's up to spec. He's obviously worried about it being rejected otherwise any reasonable seller would have taken the car in. Each dealer is different, so the ones your side...

    The car shouldn't be throwing error codes. Yes, those could be old but a dealer should clear them as part of a service so I'd be inclined to believe that the head-unit is the cause.     Exactly, and the car will massively drop in value if the plan gets terminated. Imagine something simple like the fan controller goes faulty and they decide that the screen installation could have caused the issue; that’s game over.

    Did the car get checked by BMW? I know motorplan transfer comes after ownership swap, but not a chance I’d buy the car with an aftermarket screen. They can blame so many things on it and deny any warranty claims.

    TV license doesn’t tie to credit so there’s no blacklisting. I used to not mind paying it even though I never used the service, but the funds aren’t used correctly so I’d rather not fund more corruption.

    Their buy prices are horrendous, and that’s also how they sell the cars slightly below retail, making them appealing. Would never buy from them. The fact that they purposely base their business around “voetstoets” speaks volumes for their identity.

    It’s all calculated and shown to you before you pay. The courier also manages the process with customs. Make sure you set your address correctly when browsing the site so that they show stuff that ships to SA.

    The repasting definitely helps if you use a decent brand, but try it with a laptop cooler first, and consider undervolting the cpu and gpu as those will both make a decent difference.
