    IPv6 Roll Out

Morning @Afrihost team, For some reason my IPV6 address is no longer being allocated by DHCP6, could you please take a look and see if there is some kind of config issue? Thanks

    No IPv4 Vumatel

Hi @Afrigirl and @AfriGuy, Something changed on my connection when checking with support If a fixed IPv6 is now possible, instead of checking and letting me know they replied that it's not possible and so they changed my account to dynamic and could I please restart my router. I thought it...

    IPv6 Roll Out

Ok, got it working, toooo many changes at the same time, at one point I turned on request prefix only while trying to get it to work.. so it was actually getting a address, but not assigning it to the WAN interface. I enabled IPV6 on the LAN and that picked up a 2c0e address which I assume is...

    IPv6 Roll Out

Hi all, So, currently I don't seem to be able to obtain a IPV6 on Vumatel, I have set my interface to DHCPV6 and configured to request a /54, but when I reset I get a fe80 address which is a local link address that the router must be self assigning, Afrigirl has checked my account and...

    IPv6 Roll Out

Morning @Afrigirl Hope you are well. Happy news, my internet was activated yesterday, can you let me know how I can go about requesting for IPV6 activation with a static /56, Thanks, Robert

    IPv6 Roll Out

Yes this is Vumatel, any reason for not being able to allocate static IPv6 prefixes. It seems a requirement if you would like to run DHCP/DNS within your own network.

    IPv6 Roll Out

Hi Team afrihost, is IPV6 available in Parkhurst and if so what is the prefix delegation and do you by any chance have static IP reservations? Thanks!

    IPv6 Support

Hi, Just wondering if Coolideas has implemented IPv6 capabilities as yet, I’m moving from Capetown to Johannesburg and I’m shopping around for a new isp, IPv6 is important to me for my own learning and future proofing, not because of any pressing need to change. Thanks Robert

    WebAfrica - appalling service

Dear WebAfrica. I have been with you for over 10 years, and while mostly my internet has been stable, your service has been worse and worse until it’s is absolutely unbearable. Now when I am finally attempting to leave you, it’s seems you true colours are flying high. All I would like is to...
