Surprised with our youngsters they played with heart and did pretty well... pity about Eriksen giving away that freekick and Onana couldn't keep out that strike... I thought it was a pretty routine save
No I don't think it's as bad as you making it out to be... let's wait and see next 2 seasons... you cant be judging him this season due to the following facts:
1. Amorim maintained he wanted to come after this season, United should have continued with Ruud at the helm.
2. Amorim had already...
Ruben Amorim threw away this match... how do you head into the second half looking to just play defensively and taking off your only striker to put in people that has been injured for the last few months... In all fairness we don't deserve to be in any comp, we need to regroup refocus and come...
Honestly from everyone's body language we wernt in the Newcastle game at all for numerous reasons
1. Focus on Lyon today
2. Focus on not getting injured
3. Rotation - Lindelof was poor and so was Eriksen both with no pace and about to be let go
4. Playing 11v9 with point 3
Yet we still lost...
That was a BS push on our player but no penalty... then they score from it... yet this season if it was a United player we would have conceded a penalty and most likely a red card
I also want to comment about Thursday... how many players were doing WWE yet nothing is given but when it's United...
the only people he doesn't have are wing backs (although from Drogu's 3 match performance we have found that LWB, we need that RWB) and people that feed the striker - plus it looks like he is busy trying to get Hojlund to become the striker we need...
also doesn't help our players are constantly...
This thinking is crazy... our team has been a POS ever since Ed woodnob publicly announced that we have the money to buy anyone that's where the rot set in and where Rashford, Sancho, Di Maria, etc became the problem which is not sustainable.
We don't have the money left and what Ineos/ Glazers...
Wow the narrative of Amorim and his 3-5-1 formation should change... what rubbish press...
Remember when ETH came over and the same press asked why aren't you playing like you use to at Ajax... ETH said because the players can't... and so we went 2 season without any identity...
Now Amorim...
First rub of the green this season feels good how **** the ref's have been even with VAR, alas unfortunately it was against a team/coach that doesn't deserved it
got a feeling Amorim isn't interested in the EPL - prioritising for the Europa league and limping to the end of the season - praying we don't get relegated
Been interesting watching our crap form playing at Old Trafford and then putting in a shift and a half
