The app has been turning off datashare.
I share with my brother and he asked me if the data was depleted.
He had only used 26GB.
The toggle to share data was off, when I turned in on there was a message at the bottom of the screen that only accounts eligible for datashare may share.

It is the second time I cancel.
The first time I was in financial dire-straits about 15 years ago.
Then things improved financially and after about a year I was back.
My family will experience the worst of it but at least we have broadband.

I am in the same position as you are and I don't have enough knowledge about charging.
Meaning if you do find an alternative battery (Lithium/Gel) do you use the same charger that is inside the UPS.
Is it "Plug and Play"
Meaning is it a simple swop out (removing lead batteries and replacing them with Lithium ones), no need to change anything on the 'charging settings'

Boot a live Ubuntu, if usb is recognised then at least you know it isn't hardware.
I had a similar issue with an old notebook and did exactly that.
The USB was not recocgnised there either so I gave up because it is really an old notebook.
As at 1 am, Modem error "No response from the remote server. Please check whether your computer can access the internet directly using your Modem. If no, contact your ISP for help."
