    Works perfectly internationally, I've even turned roaming off in favour of using it full time (for SMSes mostly. Calls work fine but there's always a bit of latency)

    Exactly the trick I've been using. International roaming deactivated and calls/SMSes sent/received via WiFi Calling. Works like a charm.

    Telkom has their 2G switched off on certain towers (mostly in urban areas), which is why Telkom 2G does not show up on the network search.

    Turns out there is 5G, Telkom just doesn’t serve it to mobile devices. Not sure how others are getting the 5G symbol as a network reset. (maybe they’re rolling out 5G SA 🤨)

    VodaPay app is absolute crap. Looks and feels like it was made by GPT. My Vodacom had its issues, but it was never this bad. Anyway, does anyone remember the code to dial to get detailed balances? Used to be *111*501# if I'm not mistaken?
