The new stats show that Italy had 11191 new infections and 1645 deaths in the last 24 hours. Their highest numbers yet. Now that the numbers are so high the absolute percentage growth is going to look smaller, but the actual real number increase is still scary :crying:
Nope, but will go out to the shop to buy a few items today and probably stop at my empty plot on the way back to grab some of the fruit and vegetables I have growing there, as most of it is going to just rot off the trees and plants in a few days.
Empty roads, visibly cleaner environment around town, no loud parties to be heard anywhere in the neighborhood, can stay at home 24/7 without looking like the neighborhood hermit, don't have to get up early to drive my son to school. So far so good.
I wonder how safe the people being evacuated will be if the rumours are true that the quarantine facilities are in Thaba Nchu. I'm sure there will be protests and various political parties will probably be involved.
