Ban on alcohol and cigarettes in South Africa remains

It's actually surprised me, I'm a smoker of 40 years & lately grabbed 2 different ones. After grabbing the 2nd one that is adjustable i haven't even picked up my tobacco. Rollie smoker so maybe less chemicals to be fighting but hanging out on free base versus having to be on salt & I'm surprised...

With my supplies of rolling tobacco running low & not having much luck finding any replacement i ended up getting happy with a vape. Got a Juul but pods are limited to find & expensive & now gone to a Smok 40 which is dial-able & seems to keep me happy

South African taxpayers to pay for ban on cigarettes and alcohol: expert

Even if one puts aside the possible backhanders they are getting from the illegal trade how could they have logically thought that keeping tobacco/a tax gain shut was a good idea. It's like they just don't think or rather it just feeds back to they are getting backhanders

South Africa’s ban on the sale of cigarettes could continue under level 3 lockdown

If this was to be the case would BAT have really backed off so quickly? I dunno but i really hope that gogo gets overridden on this one. They going to be wanting money for a-z soon but turn their backs on re-opening a tax income opportunity back up but i guess common sense can't be applied.
