The article talks about amending the act to force DSTV and Netflix to be forced to collect SABC licenses but says nothing about the TV license act itself which does not currently support the public paying TV licenses for watching online content. So that part will have to be amended first...

Would be interesting to see the viewership stats for the DSTV channel in question. I bet it's not 80:20 (Non white to white ratio) as for the general SA population...
