I disagree, you should be voting for those who best represent you so that you get representation and a voice (even if it's small one). Currently, I can see who the DA is trying to win votes from. It sure as hell not me, so why continue to support them?

The DA couldn't manage the crisis well, over budget, inserting extra costs to the people, late (via set project deadlines) and biased. ANC and DA are the opposite sides of the same coin.

Ok, loadshedding done here, but the Fibre is freaking out again still. I've hooked up some solar to the ADSL modem. The solar panel produces a max of 10w, the router uses 6w so it works out alright with a battery between the two. Not sure if I can run this with fibre, as the router needs 6w...

It did come back during the early hours of the morning (was working at 5am), seemed to have died some time after then.

It came back up eventually after loadshedding, but it's not down again for some reason. Anyone know whats going on? Had to dust off the old DSL in the mean time.

On a side note, the name on the delivery address was spelt wrong for me, and now I know where all the spam got their info on me. Either discovery, fnb or the delivery company sold that info off to the spam lists.

I had a discovery card, and in a single email, FNB mailed a group email my ID number, my unmasked credit card number and the name on that card. Thanks FNB. FNB promptly ignored me and discovery was left to try clean up the mess.

Ok, fixed. Went to edgemead to get my chip or whatever, plugged it in and working fine now. Very strange. So if you are edgemead/monte visa or plattekloof glen, getting the new chip from the VUMA guys at edgemead shopping center will sort the problem (check your mail or follow SMS instructions).

Anyone manage to get their internet back yet?
