Tim Cook claims Android has 47 times more malware than iOS

I disagree, but okay. I own both Android and Phone as I'm a developer, but my day to day stuff I personally prefer iPhone. They both have merits and flaws tbh... no such thing as a perfect phone.

Tim Cook claims Android has 47 times more malware than iOS

Absolutely.. Talking about Ms Windows, most big companies' employees have Windows machines, so if a hacker could get into a Windows machine, it could potentially attack a whole company network, where as MacOS and Linux (ignore Linux servers for now) are mostly used by individuals. Hence, which...

Home Affairs systems are always down because it is getting what it pays for - SITA

eHomeAffairs is so cheap, they didn't even bother adding a "Delete Application" button. I started an application online last year March, but never completed it cause thats when lockdown happened. Then a few days ago, over a year later I started another application, then I get a message that I...

DStv's plan to be the one-stop video entertainment shop for South Africa

I'm very sure the extra features like Netflix, YouTube etc requires internet access to be able to use those features on the decoder anyway...

DStv's plan to be the one-stop video entertainment shop for South Africa

DStv's plan to be the one-stop video entertainment shop for South Africa

Lol... people with a DSTV subscription, can most certainly afford a TV with Netflix, Amazon, YouTube and even DSTV built in. Don't know why they would think people are gonna buy a new decoder with terrible UI / UX and hope to convert them to use their decoder instead of the built in optimised apps.

Switching from Android to Apple - What made you switch?

I had to upgrade my laptop in 2014 and opted for a 13" Macbook Pro. I travelled a lot and forced myself not to get yet another back breaking overweight gaming laptop, that I never used for gaming. 6 months later my Samsung Galaxy S4 I think, started giving charging issues so bought an iPhone 5s...

    Anyone using Tailwind CSS ?

I've used Tailwind. It has it's place, some people swear by it and I get the hype, but it's not for me. I've tried it multiple times, but I get kinda annoyed by the prebuilds before you can start using it for most part. And If I'm gonna be dealing with pre defined classes, I'd rather use a css...

Eskom CEO Andre de Ruyter's impressive performance

However, I do think Andre is a d00s sometimes... a few months ago in an article, he mentioned that people with solar panels + inverters are using "eskom" as a plugin for when they don't have sun, which is why they should be charged extra... but in reality, it's the other way around... most...

Apple will hide your IP address from spammers and online crooks

I've already been using the concept of "Hide My Email" myself for about 2 years. Have a custom domain with a catch all address and every site I sign up to, I use something else, get 4141sitename@example.com ... then when I start receiving spam going to address X "4141sitename", I just kill /...

Is there such a thing as getting paid too much?

No such thing as getting paid too much.. However I think in the public sector (anything where the state got its finger on) it should be performance based. Example, no loadshedding for 1 year or whatever goal, get Rxx,xxx, xxx // don't achieve that some other sum, much lower. In the private...
