Mini all the way for me too. I got the 12 Mini for my daughter last year but she couldn't handle the battery so I ended up getting her a regular 12 and I took the Mini. I've had no issue with the battery though so will be happy with any improvement.

Looks like you have filter unknown messages set up. If I recall correctly from last year tracking will go live late afternoon.

I preordered early Friday morning as well. Also got the Saturday call and then an SMS saying device is out of stock but will be dispatched as soon as stock is available (this is a standard SMS when pre-ordering). At about 9PM last night I got the successfully processed SMS from Vodacom and a few...

I upgraded with Vodacom but mine has been processed and I've received tracking details from RAM last night. It's looking like a launch day delivery.

    Apple Pay South Africa

How so? You still don't have unfettered offline transactions as claimed... An easy fix for a Cellular Apple Watch but for someone with a GPS only watch it could present a problem if you don't have your card or iPhone at hand.

Semantics, but ok, Apple Pay stops working until device goes online again.

    Apple Pay South Africa

Point 13... You just don't notice it as chances are your device is online because your phone is in your pocket. I also had to present my card one Saturday for what I assume was excessive offline transactions because may phone battery went flat. What resolved the issue was enabling cellular on...

Nobody said any different but you will be asked for a pin when you exceed x number offline transactions.

    Apple Pay South Africa

GPS only or GPS/Cellular Apple Watch? Apple Pay and the payment terminals already have this baked in. Apple Pay and Wallet automatically selects the correct loyalty card, provided it is stored in wallet and automatic selection is turned on, when paying. No need to scan or authenticate...

    The iOS 15 Thread/Discussion

iOS 15 has completely screwed up my storage... Got in touch with Apple support and they are aware of the issue but do not have an understanding of what is causing it. As such they're unable to provide a timeline on a solution.

    Apple Watch thread

That's because the Apple Watch lacks a temperature sensor. It's the easiest way to automatically track sleep because your temperature drops as sleeping time approaches. I believe the Series 7 will include a temperature sensor so maybe just hold on for a bit before you decide.

    Apple Watch thread

Apple's sleep tracking is rudimentary. Basically just time asleep, time in bed, heart and respiratory rate. No sleep stages etc...

    Apple Pay South Africa

I would think that it is similar to Apple Cash in the US which is for all intents and purposes a virtual card. In that sense any PIN will do.

    DsTV now flashing titles

This is happening to me on the Beta as well. Just tap the touch surface of the remote a couple of times and it will go away.

3 FNB Pay/Apple Pay transactions in total but only 1 through the virtual card is needed.

Internal CDC document warns delta variant more infectious, can spread among vaccinated people - report

Wake up man. These vaccines are trash! Protection is very limited and you’ll have to get boosters till thy kingdom come. They’ve created vaccination slaves.

    Non-Vaccination brag thread

Dude, the data is available. The elderly are still succumbing despite vaccination status. They’re starting to roll out boosters for them. Even the CDC is warning of this now ADE doesn’t show up quickly. It shows up once antibodies start to wane which is round about now. The signs are worrying...

Covid-19 vaccine might be made mandatory before returning to the office

I concur. But my issue with these vaccines is that there is no medium/long term data and that ADE is a legitimate concern. It’s an issue with natural infection too. The problem with these, now confirmed, leaky vaccines is that they relieve the natural pressure on the virus to become less...

The Cov-Idiots Thread (Morons Of The Corona Pandemic)

Most of them were only recommendations apart from the time limit on alcohol. I can't remember exactly. No, it is actually the opposite. Countries like Sweden and developed nations could implement tough interventions but in less fortunate countries it shifted the disease burden onto the...
