    Prepaid Power Tips?

Get a geyser timer installed! We run our geyser 2 hours a day on the timer. Nothing worse than forgetting to turn on your geyser and having a cold shower in winter. Also try find a timer that doesn't need to be reset after load-shedding. Our timer goes off when there is no power and then we...

    Media Streaming Box

Read the reviews... i know that there was an issue with the certification, and you couldn't load Netflix or DStvNow. Just check it out first. There is a thread on the Skyworth Box and a thread on the MiBox. For the money i would rather go for MiBox.

    Media Streaming Box

MiBox is a Google Certified media box running Android TV OS, with built in ChromeCast. Anything that isnt Google Certified is a waste of time, You wont get Netflix or DStv Now etc. The cheaper options tend to run an old version of Android OS that is normally for tablets, ie Android 5 or 6. Google Mini - What do you use yours for?

I use mine to listen to the radio in the morning... "hey google, play hot 91.9fm on tune-in" That's about all i do with it, but you can check traffic routes, weather, stocks etc and also control my MiBox (built in chromecast) with it. I planned to get smart lights for it but they a bit pricey...

Xiaomi Mi Box / Mi Box S [Android TV OS]

Does anyone know of a simple way to set the MiBox to sleep/shut down after say 60mins/90mins. I can set my tv to sleep (switch off) in 60/90mins but the MiBox is still streaming all night when the tv is off.
