South Africa tells 200 000 Zimbabweans to go home

Look dip ****, I first encountered racism, in the UK while just walking on a street minding my own business , on my first 4 day trip to that craphole, while some of your friends (they must have been your friends) drove past on the A4. I was there for a 4 day conference. Scared the crap out of...

The official Ubiquiti Devices Q&A Thread

That's one thing I have not faced. Since all the APs boot up simultaneously after LS, the iOT devices normally connect to the one I need them to connect to i.e the closest one.

South Africa tells 200 000 Zimbabweans to go home

Don't stereotype. I know Zimbabweans and Malawians that are hard workers. They leave their children behind in Zim/Malawi to do the best they can here for their families. No theft, no ****, and they work hard and accurately (and they get paid more than the legal daily minimum of SA lest someone...

Bare metal Perfectly fine. Utterly reliable and running of SD card, been running for years with PiHole too. I use Adguard on my Home assistant (Oracle VM) as primary DNS for internal and the PiHole as secondary DNS. Ensures things work even if the Hass VM runs into trouble which it does...

Same issues. I normally try to update firmware at same time (I have 2 APs) so the IoT devices connect to their closest one. This new feature is interesting but it should have been, lock if AP is available to allow for redundancy. Will still test with one or two iOT devices.

Tips to Boost your eBucks - 1 July 2021 to 30 June 2022

Definitely those were the days, thinking about the fact that Ebucks funded so much in my life. Walking around the house:- the dishwasher, a CCTV TV , HDMI extenders, two sets of fitness devices over three years (Fitbits and then Garmins) bought either via Dis-chem or Makro at 40% discounts. And...
