Hisense 50-inch(127cm) Smart UHD LED TV

Mikrouewl's account on Carbonite was hacked and then ads posted for super low prices. It is not Mikrouwel posting this but whoever managed to hack his account. Stay well clear; please report to the moderator to block Mikrouwel's MyBB account to prevent further posting until the rightful owner...

    Gate Remote

Sounds weird..... maybe try resetting (clearing) the receiver memory and start afresh (if you can)? Haven't had such a case before. Try putting a fresh battery in the remote, or try another remote and see what happens.

Virtual DVR/NVR (for my IP camera's)

I'm using Blue Iris (one version before the most recent one, can't remember if it's 3 or 4) but it's worth it. Can configure most things and very versatile. Keep an eye out for specials and promos, where you can get it cheaper (that's how I got mine a while ago). Have tried a few other packages...

    Home Automation - Smartkit

I'd say (in order of probability): 1) PowerOnState 0 2) WifiConfig 5 Is the unit operating "on its own" (without a connection to HA) or with HA / through MQTT? If on its own, disable MQTT in settings (permanently, or temporarily and then test without MQTT and manually removing power source)...

    Home Automation - Smartkit

Sorry bud, there is no software setting in tasmota to make it a dry contact, but rather a hardware one. You can either remove a few resistors on the SV, or add a relay - no other ways around it. You could also buy sonoff RE5V1C (that comes with a dry contact by default).

    Home Automation - Smartkit

The issue that you are having is that you are effectively shorting the + and - contacts if you don't change the sonoff SV to give the "dry contact" output (there are guides on the net). Alternatively you could add a relay (I made a drawing a while back). That is why the wires are melting, not...

    Home Automation - Smartkit

OK - feedback time - I have used the following commands in tasmota Console: Poweronstate 1 pulsetime 30 All works as it should - upon power returning (manually tested, unplug/replug), the sonoff unit output comes on, stays on for 3 seconds, then switches off. Exactly what I needed - thank you...

    Home Automation - Smartkit

Thanks both; will give this a try. Don't think I have any sonoff devices still on ewelink firmware but will check!

    Home Automation - Smartkit

I'd prefer to use the sonoff as I have a few spares unused, but am not opposed to other ideas.

    Home Automation - Smartkit

I have an idea of a use of the sonoff basic unit with Tasmota firmware, but need some guidance from more experienced user/s. Idea: use the sonoff basic with a buzzer to alert (for a short period, like 3-5 seconds) when the electricity comes back. The sonoff would be wired directly to the...
