I doubt that, his book analysis, theories videos are far better than his tv show stuff. He has couple of different book analysis content that's currently ongoing. He'll be just fine, Alt Shift X on the other hand is a different story since he catered mostly for the tv show watchers, he might be...

from his blog a few days ago: "How will it all end? I hear people asking. The same ending as the show? Different? Well… yes. And no. And yes. And no. And yes. And no. And yes. I am working in a very different medium than David and Dan, never forget. They had six hours for this...

The most disappointing part is that you can't re watch the earlier seasons without knowing what it eventually becomes :(

The picture, special effects and cinematography (except on the last episode) are really good, but the story line is far from excellent, acting has been okay, can't blame the actors though if there's a lack of compelling dialogue. We have entire story lines which we have to wonder why they were...

Spectacle and fan service, that's what this show is mostly about. Even if it's at the expense of the plot and story line.

Was thinking about the plan they came up with to catch the Night King, it seems a bit too easy and straight forward, probably things won't go accordingly, and the Night King showing up is still a big mystery as we haven't seen him for a while and not even in the preview for the next episode...

Another good point, I really hope that Aegon is actually legit (I know it's unlikely) but the rivalry between him and Daenerys would be something special if he was legit and would mean we might see another dance of the dragons type of battles, Daenerys isn't even in the position of going to...

Maybe it also ties in with Rhaegar's obsession with the prophecy, initially he believed his first born Aegon was the "prince promised by prophecy, whose song will be that of ice and fire", I'm guessing after seeing something he changed his mind and had to have another prince with Lyanna.

That was good of him and also to not drag it out, I found it interesting how he left Dany hanging about his interest having the first claim to the throne (he could've easily said he wasn't interested in the throne), and also Dany left Sansa hanging about leaving Winterfell to its own rule...

Interestingly by bringing up the story of the Blackfyres it brings us into a different argument. These bastards were legitimized by the king himself and that was supposedly lawful but years after the fact almost half the realm still didn't fully accept that ruling. Didn't help that the...

You're right but I do sympathise with the show runners since they expected to use book material throughout but George took his time and they had to continue with the show.

Aegon the Unworthy simply legitimized all his bastards, didn't remove the legitimacy of Daeron. Different scenarios.

I'm basing my arguments on the story's continuity, nowhere in all of Westeros history have we had a Targaryen name BOTH his kids the same name, especially those who are apart by a few years.

This might explain it but still it's still a bit of a stretch, they were in the middle of a war and should Dorne have learned of this annulment (which has never happened before by the way, would've caused war on its own) it would have been even worse for Aerys who actually kept Elia and both her...

Based on what we saw on the show, the remaining Kingsguard (Arthur Dayne and others) had no idea the battle was lost and of events after which is understandable since they were in a dessert, Lyanna wouldn't have known any better.

I'm not sure I'm understanding you right but Aegon was born a year before Robert's rebellion, and being a heir to the throne I'll assume the Kingdom was well aware of his name. Lyanna choosing that same name later doesn't make sense, from what we saw in the show Jon was born just as Ned arrived...

Why is Jon's "real name" same as his half-brother? Lyanna must've known very well that name was taken, unless the older Aegon is named differently in the show.

From what I've read they've had one of the biggest political influences in the history of Westeros. The dance of the dragons was started because of them wanting to take the throne from the "rightful" heir and even before that they've always been close allies to the Iron throne, which is...
