MTN unwilling to fix LTE issues

Actually it's truly not an OpenWeb Issue as it affects both our MTN phones LTE speeds all connected to the same tower that started giving problems on the 9th of December. Have tried Twitter but I am getting sick of sending the same info over and over. All 3 numbers have been reported to MTN and...

MTN unwilling to fix LTE issues

I now have speed problems ongoing since 9 December 2020 (confirmed by MTN through OpenWeb) and yet nothing has been done to fix it. I have tickets open with their coverage helpdesk and they keep telling me its been escalated or instead asking me again and again to fill in their stupid online...

    How does Bridge Mode work?

I've had much better performance with bridge modes versus repeater / ap modes. Especially if the extender router is hard wired to the main router.

Packet Loss Across the Board and "Nothing we can do" ?? Serious????

They first told me 10 days ago it was their firewall. Then the story changed today that's it a routing issue outside of their network and there's nothing they can do

Afrihost Fibre - What a joke!

Sending you guys traceroutes is pointless, all we get back from your NOC guys is there is nothing they can do.

Afrihost Fibre - What a joke!

We have a 100mbps line ... barely get 25 Mbs most of the day ... all day. Support does nothing to resolve anything as I have been on at them now since January.

Support incompetence on par with SOE competency

 10 days with your Twitter support crew and basically "there's nothing we can do" serious ???? Routing is up to ****. I had WAY better connectivity when BOTH WACS and SAT cables were broken at the same time. Just shrug shoulders and hope the problem goes away

    How does Bridge Mode work?

Bridge mode works better than any extender mode. It just becomes a true extension of your main router. Just set it up as bridge mode and it should just take care of the rest for you.

New rules for all co.za websites and ISPs during coronavirus outbreak

Based on this announcement this morning, I urge all those who have put a banner on their web site to remove it. Screw this nonsense, this is the Biatch who wants us to do so and she gets off with R1000 fine.

    Fibrestream a predatory ISP BEWARE

Oh yes indeed they are still in operation, just changed the official trading name to be Fibrestream and no longer SkyFi. Both companies registered and always been owned by Mr Michael Julio Pinto Ribeiro. Both domains SkyFi and Fibrestream registered by him.

    Fibrestream a predatory ISP BEWARE

That's my next move tomorrow. Paid their cancellation figure in full and they just ignore all emails and will not respond with confirmation of cancellation or receipt of the payment. Lovely people and so full of ethics. They treat you like absolute dirt when you try leave. Involving the ISPA to...
