is it even the same person? looks completely different!

One could argue its a different person. He has been through so much treatment, emotional turmoil and physical change that his brain chemistry is probably different. He is not the Jeremy we all knew but probably still has some memories from his old self though some of those too may be lost.

I saw this happen with my Aunt who eventually lost her battle with cancer after nearly 20 years. Towards the end, they only remember and recognize those closest to them.

Never liked him on air, but cancer is a bastard and a horrible disease. It's sad to see what it does to someone.

Went to his restaurant Mansfields at Hillfox in the early 2000's.

I distinctly recall our helper at the time went to ask him for an autograph, but was quickly shooed away.
She took it on the chin saying he was busy at the time. Less than 5 minutes later a group of 20 something year olds (if I had to hazard a guess) approached him. They were all laughing and taking photos with him etc.

The helper didn't mention it again but I believe she no longer listened to that station. What a way to treat fans

What kind of horrible person would troll a person who has cancer ?

How long have you been on MyBB? Jirre.
You see people making **** comments when a child dies.

Anonymity gives people people the courage to be who they are and they use their "freedom of speech" to say what they want. No compassion or guilt. This site has some really toxic people as well if you read certain threads.

I had the oppurtunity in 2012 to go on a company planning retreat where he was with us for three days. Great fun to be around and a lovely personality, he was promoting his cooking stuff at the time as well and we had cookoffs as part of the team building between the strategy sessions and kept us entertained throughout.

Very sad to see his current state, wish him all the strengh.

so my next question is a sensitive one, as he is in Palliative care, does that mean he has less than 6 months? maybe even less?
how long do people stay alive in this condition?

and then my other question, how much does it cost to keep somebody like this alive VS assisted suicide,
I know I'm opening a can of worms with the last question, but if its terminal, they aren't going to get better.

surely Discovery and all the insurance companies Feasting on all the Medical Bills Pallative care consumes.
anybody advise on Costs? especially VS assisted suicide, even in another country

Doctors cannot really predict this accurately from what I understand but usually when they stop treatment, it's a matter of months. Some people linger on for a bit more than others.

Assisted suicide does not exist in South Africa. You need to go elsewhere for that.

Palliative Care stops medical treatment and it's just medication to keep the pain at bay for as long as possible. Generally in a home with 24/7 care.

Nobody will advise you on costs. Call your medical aid.
