Here’s what I’ve got at home. Both pistols loaded with pepper, the rifle loaded with nylon balls.

Our local Woolies and Checkers this afternoon. And, we were not affected by any protest or damage this week.

Both believe they will be closing indefinitely by the end of the week.

n24 : Government wants 70000, 25000 proposed, given this development meeting has been postponed. So still in talks rather than headline confirmation.

If there was a sense of urgency they'd deploy the 25000 NOW and chat about the balance tomorrow

Back roads from Harrismith, Sterkfontein dam, Bergville, Estcourt, Nottingham Road, Howick, Hilton (R103). I'm skipping the short-cut via the Umbumbulu road (exit 61) to the south coast (feels like being in the lion's den every time I take that. I will most likely the M7 to miss some of Dbn. Route down the south coast will be a toss up between / mix of the N2 (apparently open again) and the R102. Mostly depending on what will happen at Mobeni tonight.
Best to stick on the N2 heading South. Roads are relatively we quiet in the mornings, though there was some backlog by the ultracity due to lines for fuel.

I think major issue is having enough fuel for your vehicles for the return journey.

God forbid we were a strong nation with a strong President.

Like some country attacking us with inbound nukes etc..........

These stupid ****ups would destroy us all while they order Kentucky and dither and father.

One tank is good for there and nearly half way back. However, I will refill in Kzn somewhere before the trouble areas (most likely try at two different towns before Pmb), I'm also taking 40l of extra fuel with me.
