‘Right now, I am broke’: philanthropist Bi Phakathi opens up about financial struggles

Yes I don't know if I buy this. I don't watch to much of his stuff but it generally looks like he is giving away 1-2k in videos.
Now that is about $100 as he would probably be paid in dollars from Youtube and Tiktok. Probably also on Facebook, Instagram and other social media.
He has over 1 million Youtube subs and over 2 million Tiktok subscribers. Probably the same video gets posted on all platforms. So not making $100 on a video I doubt.
Unless he does lives, he doesn't make any money on tiktok. YouTube he gets about 5 million views per month and it's declining rapidly. Most of his videos are shorts, so I am guessing his RPM is about $0.80. That means he makes about $4000 per month from YouTube.
His channel blew up between October 2022 and January 2023 and he was making around $32,000 per month.

Some of the guys are really genuine though, you can see they aren’t in it just for the money/clicks.
NO.

The people who are genuinely doing it out of compassion or some other humanitarian reason are all people you could not name.

It's just a niche part of SM where we "display our generosity so please like and subscribe to see more of us displaying our generosity also we have a Patreon if you too would like to help us to help them".

They are like me. I am actually stinking rich and I just pretend to struggle financially. It keeps me humble.
