Am in a relationship with an Asian so I'm allowed. Is it mocking if I was being serious? The expression is just awesome, totally completes the gesture in all its gloriousness.

Being in a relationship with someone of a different race in no shape or form gives you a pass on this. Ask Mmusi. It similar to a White trying to get a mulligan when saying something racist by stating 'I have Black friends, but..'.
