Never mind users, what about the exorbitant costs of setting up a local site?

well if ICASA actually forced teklom to abide by the rules, we'd have uncapped local internet for the entire country, and then local content would skyrocket and our dependence on the undersea cable would plummet.

suddenly having a cell phone/xbox/ps2/ipaq/pc/internet pc that can show streaming content becomes sooo much more cool, and then mxit's voip capabilities become invaluable.

I think that the whole "teklom is scared of voip" argument is still holding us back.

The bigger problem is that every other country is embracing SAAS as the defacto standard. You starting to see entire applications headed this route. Imagine telling Thabo he cant use the new MS Office cause of his countires infrustructure.
