Does anyone know what department this number is from in MTN? At least I am assuming it is from them based on another Post on this forum.

I have 0.1 % MTN cell phone reception at work. There is just enough signal for my phone to wrong, but not pick it up. Answering a call from work usually means that I have following conversation...

"hello"
"Yes Hel..."
"Can YOU HEAR ME..."
"beep....beep"

Now I have received about 12 calls from this number in the last 2 days, and they refuse to leave a message, and I cant phone them back to find out WTF they want and it is starting to get REALLY annoying!

I have tried to phone it back but it just says the number is incorrect??????

When they finally get hold of me when I am in area that has signal.. I am going to give them more than a piece of my mind!

It's the router number for calls from MTN head office ;)

Hmmm, is somebody at MTN head office to good to leave a number to phone them back :/

What could be the reason for them calling have you got a query with any department in MTN that someone was suppose to give you feedback on?

I have no clue at all, :( I have not phoned for anything, My account is paid, I phoned about my upgrade 2 months ago and was told it was in August.. So I really dont know...

But the constant phoning and never leaving a message is really irratating, especially when I cant anwser the phone because of bad signal!

well you could move to a network that will give you a signal and then you'll be able to answer the call. :D

LOL dont worry MTNDD, Vodacom is just as bad.

Actually to tell you the truth, I think they are worse, My Boss' phone doesn't even ring, it just goes to voicemail most of the the time.

If I change it would not be because of bad signal. Though I might because of somebody not leaving a message when they phone me or benefits that another company offers upgrading clients.

I got the same problem the person just calls and doesn't speak. I bet it's some kind of a game/prank/poll
