Indeed. There are only seven labs attached to the NHLS that are doing COVID-19 testing, and their rate is less than 1000 per day. Hopefully rapid tests like that Bosch on-site one that does a full spectrum of PCR tests in 2.5 hours will change things rapidly.Mostly private labs... National labs are struggling to break 1000 a day from what I know.

But this is the reality of COVID-19. Those with comorbidities and strong immune system responses will be the first to die. The virus affects everyone, and will kill healthy people as well as the sick.
Don't fall into the trappings of conspiracy because it's a more comfortable idea to you. The stories are about individuals now because the numbers are low. In the weeks, and months ahead, there won't be time to mourn the dead as we do now.
